Select Producing experience
I sort of fell backwards into producing. In 2013 I was working as the lead editor on a project that didn’t have a post producer. So I just started answering client questions and managing schedules and expectations. It turns out I really enjoy this part of the process. I am very comfortable managing large teams, line producing, post producing, assistant directing, and really doing anything to help create quality content.
LINCOLN’S DILEMMA
Credit: Post Production Supervisor
I remotely managed an internal team of 25 editors, directors, producers, motion graphic and VFX artists, researchers, and assistants to deliver 200 minutes of premium content exploring Lincoln’s evolving relationship to slavery throughout his presidency.
Additionally, I created and maintained schedules and budgets, hired additional staff where needed, clearly communicated information and creative ideas between Apple, Executive Producers, Production, Post Production all our external vendors for animation, VFX, music composition, celebrity voice over casting & recording, color correction, sound design & mix, and quality control.
culinary walk of fame - Holland America Line
Credit: Senior Producer | 1st Unit Assistant Director | 2nd Unit Director | Post Producer | Post Production Supervisor
In 2016, Holland America Line launched its first Pinnacle-class ship, the MS Koningsdam, and wanted to create a passenger experience that was interactive, entertaining, and culinary-focused. In less than 5 months I filmed with 6 celebrity chefs on 3 continents, ultimately creating 9 food-focused documentaries that equaled over 100 minutes of content available in 5 languages.
To further promote the Culinary Walk of Fame and the Culinary Council, I directed the effort to re-edited the stories into 2-3 minute videos for the web in addition to creating 2 new videos profiling the Culinary Council as a whole.
